Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC will add five attorneys from a boutique law firm in Newark with plans to close.

As Greenberg Dauber Epstein & Tucker winds down operations, CSG Law will welcome the following attorneys Jan. 1, 2025:

  • Glenn Tucker, Robert Ripley and Eleftherios Georgiou, members, Corporate & Securities Group
  • Jennifer Saal, counsel, Corporate & Securities Group

The additions will join more than 200 attorneys at the Roseland-based full-service law firm — including the 36 new hires who began this year, noted CSG Law executive committee member Francis Giantomasi.

“We are committed to growing strategically and expanding our comprehensive suite of services in a way that adds value for clients,” Giantomasi said.

Glenn Stein, chair of the corporate & securities group at CSG Law, commented, “We are pleased to have Ed, Glenn, Bob, Ted, and Jennifer join the CSG Law team, bringing their formidable experience to the firm.”

He went on to say, “We’ve known and respected this group for years and look forward to collaborating now as colleagues to continue providing clients with top-tier legal representation.”

‘A natural extension’

Founded in 1977, Greenberg Dauber Epstein & Tucker focuses on commercial litigation, white collar criminal defense, alternative dispute resolution, employment and corporate matters.

Tucker believes the synergy between the two firms “made it clear that joining CSG Law would be a natural extension to our work.”

“We have worked with many of the firm’s attorneys in a variety of matters over the years, and we have always been impressed with the CSG’s business model and culture,” he added.

Dauber said, “Working alongside attorneys that I have litigated against and with over the years is something I am looking forward to. We also believe that by drawing on the CSG’s wide variety of practices we will be able to offer seamless services to our clients.”

More about the attorneys

According to CSG Law, Tucker focuses on counseling family held businesses and handling complex mergers and acquisitions for closely held enterprises.

Ripley’s practice emphasizes the handling of sophisticated M&A transactions for mid-market companies. He also assists clients in an outside general counsel capacity with their day-to-day issues.

Georgiou represents and advises domestic and international business clients in day-to-day business activities, mergers and acquisitions, commercial loan and refinancing transactions, business formations and development, corporate reorganizations, employment and stockholder transactions, liquor licensing matters and the negotiation of commercial leases and other contracts.

Saal counsels clients on a variety of contractual and transactional matters, including: negotiation, documentation and transactions involving commercial leases, purchase/sale contracts and employment/severance agreements.

Dauber brings his extensive background in commercial litigation, white collar defense matters, mediation and alternative dispute resolution to CSG Law.

In addition to his private practice experience, Daubner has served in the public sector in a number of roles. Those include as chief of the fraud division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in New Jersey, as an advisor to the attorney general of the United States, and as the executive assistant attorney general and director of the Division of Law for the State of New Jersey.
